UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2026: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) ne IAS, IPS, IFS, aur Group A & B central services posts ki bharti ke liye notification jari kiya hai. Bharat ki sabse pratishthit bharti pariksha me se ek, UPSC CSE ke liye har saal lakhon candidates apply karte hain.

• Notification Release Date: July 25, 2026
• Last Date for Online Form Submission: August 30, 2026
• Preliminary CBT/Offline Exam: October 12, 2026
• Mains Written Examination: December 2026

Eligibility & Requirements

Educational Qualification

Candidate ke paas kisi bhi recognized university se Graduation degree (kisi bhi stream me) hona chahiye. Final year ke students bhi CSE Prelims me aavedan karne ke liye eligible hain, ba-sharte unhe Mains form (DAF) ke samay passing proof dena hoga.

Age Limit & Number of Attempts

• Age Limit: General category ke liye aayu **21 se 32 saal** honi chahiye. (OBC ke liye 3 saal, SC/ST ke liye 5 saal ki chhoot).
• Number of Attempts:
  • General Category: **6 attempts**
  • OBC Category: **9 attempts**
  • SC/ST Category: **Unlimited attempts** (age limit ke tehat)

UPSC CSE Selection Process

Selection process teen charano me complete kiya jata hai:

1. Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam: Objective type paper hota hai jisme do paper hote hain - General Studies (GS-I) aur Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT/GS-II). CSAT me 33% passing marks anivarya hain.
2. Civil Services (Main) Exam: Subjective written test hota hai jisme total 9 papers hote hain, jisme local Indian language, English, Essay, 4 General Studies papers, aur 2 Optional papers shamil hote hain.
3. Personality Test (Interview): UPSC board panel dwara candidates ka saakshatkar liya jata hai.
